It was quite the Major League Debut for Bryce Harper. The Washington Nationals rookie went 1-3 with a RBI Sac Fly in the 9th that broke a 1-1 tie with the Dodgers. After a ground out to pitcher Chad Billingsley in his first at-bat, and a pop up to left in his second at-bat, Harper blistered a Double off the center field wall in his third at-bat (all the while being mooned by a fan behind him). Later in the game Harper fired a strike from left field to catcher Wilson Ramos, who subsequently dropped the ball, denying Harper his first outfield assist. In the 9th Harper hit a RBI Sac Fly that scored Rick Ankiel with the go ahead run putting Washington up 2-1 at the time. They would go on to lose the game 4-3 following a bullpen meltdown.
